Acts 2:42 Community is an intergenerational ministry where people of all ages worship, learn, serve, and fellowship together. The Acts 2:42 Community welcomes those from our church and from our community.
Each week we praise God in song and then hear a short message from scripture. At times there might be topical series for a few weeks. Participating in all weeks of a series is meaningful, but each week can stand alone. Following, we all go into the hall for dinner and fellowship. Dinner usually includes salad or soup and rolls with a casserole meal, sub sandwiches or pizza, and then dessert. The fellowship of the early Christians was warm and accepting. All were included regularly in times of worship and fellowship meals. The regular practice of eating together, the value of fellowship for deepening relationship, and the fruitfulness born of shared meals around the table builds a community of people united in faith and godly living.
